No, this is our SIF-certified zone integration server product that is previously been offered on a commercial basis. It is not Open Source. It is maintained by our developers only and it is not outsourced to any other developer. No source code is provided.

We no longer ship our software on device media. You will receive the software digitally, so there is not shipping necessary.

You will receive access to download the xDZIS/xDBroker software, including documentation in electronic format that covers how to set up and use the software. Additional training, technical support, and installation support is available for an extra charge.

Use the following steps to get access to the free xDZIS/xDBroker software:

1. Complete the Free xDZIS/xDBroker application form on our web site.
2. The form is sent to our Sales Team. One of our sales team members will contact you as soon as possible, typically within one business day.
3. If you decided to purchase training, support, or installation, please follow-up with a faxed Purchase Order, if applicable, to our office at 618-281-8860 or e-mail to [email protected]. Don’t worry if you forget, one of our sales team members will contact you.
4. CPSI will verify the information and the district student count using the NCES web site student count as a guide: http://nces.ed.gov/ccd/districtsearch
5. Once your request is verified we will give you access to download the software as well as key information.
6. If you paid for additional services, we will contact you to schedule them.

Yes. The xDZIS and xDBroker are protected by licensing keys. You will receive your key and instructions on entering your key with your software download information.

Just contact our Sales Team and we will work with you to develop a proposal that includes the xDZIS/xDBroker for no additional cost.

Help with setup is part of our support and installation services. If you did not purchase installation services, please contact our Sales Team to purchase those services.

As part of your xDZIS/xDBroker, we offer one hour of free SIF integration consulting. During this consultation, we will work with you to create a plan for your SIF integration and let you know more about other services we offer that can make your SIF implementation fast and easy.

We charge a $500 flat fee regardless of the size of the district. This includes installation of the software, agent registration in the appropriate zone, and ACL set-up for two SIF agents. It does not include any SIF agent installation, configuration or testing. You must provide remote access for the installation in the form of VPN or direct (RDP) access. CPSI is not responsible firewall configuration. CPSI is NOT responsible for the behavior of the non-CPSI SIF agents or products.

We do offer feature updates to our products on a regular basis. When a new feature is added, we will e-mail you to let you know. It is important to know that when your organization moves from SIF 2.x to SIF 3.x, this is not considered an update to the products. The xDZIS is used for all SIF 2.x implementations while the xDBroker is used for all SIF 3.x implementations. These two products can run simultaneously.

Installation of the updates are easy, and most customers can do this themselves. Customers with annual support have access to our staff for support during upgrades. If you would like CPSI to do your upgrade your installation, please let us know.

Yes, the license allows you to install the xDZIS/xDBroker on as many servers as you need within your organization. Cloud servers controlled by your organization are also acceptable. Please see the End User License Agreement (EULA) for more information.

Absolutely not. The End User License Agreement (EULA) is a legal document owned and maintained by CPSI and cannot be modified.

Yes. We offer remote training via remote session for $500. The session lasts up to four hours. CPSI will provide one remote session per district. The training covers installation, agent registration and minor troubleshooting as covered in the manual. This training session does NOT include the actual set up and configuration of the xDZIS/xDBroker at your site.
